  • The chapter 11 test is tomorrow.
  • I will be collecting the test study guide as a homework grade.

 

HUSH

  • Part I of your 3rd QP is due tomorrow!
  • Make sure all of your SGQs are done; they are due Wednesday.
  • Chapter 22 test on Wednesday!

 

APUSH

  • Complete the documents that you were handed today in class. 
  • Keep outlining/reading the chapters and going over the thematic questions for the next day’s class.
  • Your quiz corrections are due Wednesday.
  • Friday will be the unit test.

Need some inspiration for your third quarter project?  Here’s a great example of someone taking a hit song and turning it into something funny and educational… I think the leotards and wigs add something special, but those are optional for your project =)

  • Tomorrow is the deadline for registering for the CT NHD competition!!!

 

APUSH

  • Quiz TOMORROW since your genius teacher didn’t bring them in today.
  • Read The Farmer’s Situation.  What are the problems facing farmers according to each document?  Why is it nearly impossible for Americans to make a profit from farming?
  • Read The Farmer’s Reality.  A thesis analysis of it is due MONDAY.

  • Prepare for the quiz tomorrow on ch 26 & 27.
  • Read Vaqueros.  In ONE paragraph, assess whether the following statement is true.  “The West was settled by white Americans in the 1800s.”
  • Visit the Cowboy Song Index.  Pick any two songs.  (Preferably print them out so you can bring them to class.)  Compare and contrast the two songs.  What would the casual listener learn about the daily life, responsibilities and challenges faced by cowboys?

  • Complete the first page (front and back) of the packet you recieved in class today.  They will be collected Monday and are worth 30 points altogether.

  • Make sure you’ve gone up to Q # 9.

 

APUSH

  • Complete a PROPER, DETAILED outline for the nativism DBQ you received.
  • Keep outlining the next chapters.
  • Check back early Sunday (around noon).  There will be some primary documents I want you guys to read before Monday’s class.

5.  Who is the “Bull Moose Party?”  What are their beliefs?

6.  Describe Wilson’s “New Freedom” policy.

7.  Who won the election of 1912?  Why?

2.  Define “municipal.”  What are 4 examples of municipal reform?

3.  How did labor reformers fix working conditions?

4.  Who is Robert LaFollette?  Describe his revolutionary “Wisconsin Idea.”

5.  What did TR mean by a “square deal?”  What were the terms of this deal?

6.  How did Progressives attempt to fix the economy?
